Join us at Shangri-La Boutique Hotel for an immersive Nepali Food Cooking Class, where you'll learn the art of preparing traditional Nepali dishes under the guidance of expert local chefs. Whether you are a food enthusiast, a traveler eager to explore Nepal’s rich flavors, or someone looking to master new cooking skills, this class offers a unique and hands-on experience.


A traditional meal displayed on a brass plate includes steamed rice, mutton curry, assorted veggies, papadam, and various pickles with labels.
A traditional Nepali Thali set featuring mutton curry, lentil soup, steamed rice, and a variety of side dishes including fish curry, tomato pickle, and fried vegetables, all beautifully arranged on a round platter.

What You Will Learn

Participants can choose between learning to prepare Momos or Dal Bhat, the two most popular dishes in Nepali cuisine:

  • Momo Making – Learn the techniques to prepare the perfect Nepali dumplings, from kneading the dough to folding different shapes and making flavorful fillings.
